2. An agreement has been struck that permanently protects the north flank of Smith Rock State Park.

3. Two members of the Pape family have been sued by a group of condo owners upset over attempts to raise almost 18-million dollars to pay for repairs at the Inn of the Seventh Mountain in Bend.

4. A survey of Eugene brought high marks for Mayor Kitty Piercy.

5. Some children playing near a creek, just south of Roseburg, came across a man living under a tarp who turned out to be a wanted sexual predator.

1. Interview with Mark Beudert, Artistic Advisor of The Eugene Opera about the upcoming presentation of Mozart's "Magic Flute."

5. Warm Springs officials say encouraging new signs show that Interior Secretary Dick Kempthorne will agree to a Warm Springs Tribes casino and resort hotel.

6. KLCC's Claude Offenbacher reports a new population study shows Eugene is once again Oregon's second largest city.

1. A body found Thursday morning in Yahats State Park has been identified as Gary Raymond Wilson.

2. A pair of nuclear energy foes are pushing a voter initiative to keep nuclear power plants out of Idaho.

3. The Oregon Department of Transportation expects more delays this weekend on I-5 along the Siskiyou Pass.

4. Some trees that were cut down in Seattle's Occidental Park could return to the park as benches.
