6. A bear and 3 cubs were spotted in the LCC Florence campus north parking lot this afternoon.

7. WA biologists have confirmed a new wolf pack living in the Cascade Mountains.

8. A 21-year-old Portland man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for the beating death of his baby son.

9. Sacred Heart Medical Center is celebrating its 75th birthday Thursday.
