3. A third woman has filed a lawsuit against a former federal probation officer who also faces criminal charges for allegedly extorting sex from women he was supervising.

4. The Coast Guard has closed the Columbia River bar and most other entrances to coastal ports in Washington and Oregon because of dangerously high waves.

5. Angela Kellner reports on the Lincoln County School District serving locally-produced seafood.

6. Oregon crab fishermen say they're hoping for a good year as the ocean harvest season approaches.

4. The 111-year-old Oregon Historical Society is asking Multnomah County taxpayers to approve a five-year levy to help it stay open past next year.

5. A Lewis-McChord Sergeant who admitted forcing a runaway girl into prostitution was sentenced to 11 years in prison.

6. Police say a woman, who said she had been kidnapped and sexually assaulted in Newberg, made up the story.

7. The Eugene Airport has received a half-million dollar federal grant to help create a daily non-stop flight to San Jose, California.

8. Storms this past weekend broke some long-held precipitation records across the state, according to the National Weather Service.

1. Jackson County Sheriff Mike Winters has asked the Oregon Supreme Court to hear his appeal of a ruling that ordered him to renew a concealed handgun license for a medical marijuan cardholder.

2. Austin Jenkins reports on Washington's Campaign Finance Commission has asked the State Attorney General to take legal action against a Democratic political consultant.

3. Extra patrols are planned on the UO campus and surrounding neighborhoods this weekend to keep the party mix of college football and Halloween from spilling out of control.

4. Doug Nadvornick reports on how Idaho used part of its stimulus money.

5. U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley of Oregon supports a proposal to raise fuel efficiency standards to reduce dependence on oil.

4. A man arrested in the shooting death of his wife at their home in Hermiston is held in the Umatilla County Jail on a murder charge.

5. The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries has created a new website with information to help victims of domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking in the workplace.

6. A motion was filed today in the long-running legal battle over balancing the survival of protected salmon against cheap hydroelectric power from dams in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

7. A 73-year-old Oregon man traveled 3 miles in his wheelchair before hunters found him and helped rescue his sister after their car got stuck for 2 nights in the snow.
