4. An Oregon prison inmate has been indicted on new charges, including murder.

5. A federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging a WA man with an interstate murder-for-hire scheme.

6. Austin Jenkins reports on a new law redirecting lottery proceeds to higher education.

7. Houston Rockets point guard Aaron Brooks has been named the league's most improved player.
