First newscast:

1.  The BLM has rejected major protests against its plan to ramp up logging in old growth forests.

2. The minimum wage will go up in Oregon after the new year.

3. Oregon nurseries were hit hard during recent winter storms

4.  A two million dollar lawsuit has been filed agasint a Portland nursing home.

5. The Siskiyou snowpack was at 200 percent of normal in late December.

6.The Hanford Nuclear reservation is ahead of schedule on shipping weapons-grade plutonium to South Carolina.
