1. A pair of breeding wolves is confirmed for the first time in Oregon in a century.

2. Rachael McDonald reports on Eugene City Councilors will hear public testimony on a proposal to create a public safety zone downtown.

3. The Eugene City Council will also hold a public hearing on the University of Oregon's proposed new basketball arena.

4. Becca Bartleson reports on public meetings to examine the need for adding another area code in Oregon.

5. Two more initiatives have qualified for the Oregon ballot.

3. The father of an 18-year-old psychiatric patient struck and killed on Interstate 84 has filed a 3.4-million dollar wrongful-death lawsuit against the state.

1. After spending millions of dollars to get rid of the Tui Chub to restore the natural balance at Diamond Lake, the state has found another non-native fish.

2. Chris Lehman reports on an initiative petition qualifying for the November ballot that would base teacher pay on classroom performance.

3. Doug Nadvornick reports on plans for a wolf hunt in Idaho being put on hold.

4. Jes Burns reports on the Eugene City Council hearing nearly four hours of public comment on three different proposals - one of them was an ordinance that would allow police to ban criminal offenders from sections of downtown without a conviction.

5. Lane County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating the drowning of a 3-year-old girl in Fern Ridge Reservoir west of Eugene.

6. Rachael McDonald reports on Saint Vincent De Paul taking steps to be more environmentally-friendly at their Eugene service station.

4. The City of Astoria has settled a lawsuit by a couple whose home was damaged in a December 2005 landslide.

5. The Silverton police officer involved in the fatal shooting of a young man from Ireland last month has been denied bail on unrelated sex abuse charges.
