1. Two back to back earthquakes struck about 200 miles off Bandon this morning.

2. Geologists will present a tsunami damage map at the Florence City Council meeting this evening.

3. Oregon Civil Air Patrol planes equipped with loudspeakers will help warm coastal residents if a tsunami heads their way.

4. The Shedd Institute has cancelled the Balkan Beat Box show scheduled for Tuesday.

5. Rachael McDonald reports on the UO will award honorary degrees to 19 Japanese-American students whose educations were cut short during World War II.

6. State health officials have taken the next steps to make sure female victims of sexual assault in Oregon are offered emergency contraception.

7. Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller says a reported anthrax threat that shut down the Albany courthouse this morning, was a hoax.

3. A snow advisory has been issued for the Northern Oregon Cascades.

4. Portland-based Mercy Corps currently has a disaster relief team in Kenya.

5. The City of Florence may enter negotiations with the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians to provide police services to the Three Rivers Casino.

6. Following an anti-liquefied natural gas rally at the statehouse in early February, Governor Kulongoski wrote a letter expressing concern about proposed Oregon LNG facilites.

7. The Oregon Department of Transportation will hold a hearing later this month on making permanent a temporary rule change that would release any police report of a motorist driving dangerously, to the driver in question.
